Applications
Aqua-Jet® aerators are installed in a wide variety of treatment schemes
including activated sludge systems, such as SBRs, MSBRs and extended aeration,
as well as aerobic digesters, sludge holding, and equalization basins. Aqua-Jet
aerators are also incorporated into lagoon applications such as complete mix,
partial mix (facultative) and dual-power multi-cellular systems.@

Mooring Arrangements
• Pivotal Mooring - used in applications with varying water levels. Arm fits
at the base of the motor.
• Post Mooring - used in larger lagoons where distance prohibits mooring to the
shore. Cable line is attached to eyebolt in post installed in lagoon floor
• Maintenance Mooring - allows operator to easily move aerator to the shore for
maintenance. One or two long cable connection points supplied with a disconnect
device.
• Shore Mooring - 3 or 4 point mooring to the shore. Cables are connected to
eyes on aerator float and to eyebolt or anchor on the shore.
• Restrained Mooring - used in applications with varying water levels.
Restrained frame fits around posts and allows aerator to slide up and down
posts.
• Bottom Mooring - used in installations where distance prohibits mooring to
shore. Aerator is connected from 3 or 4 points to concrete blocks on the lagoon
floor with cable.
• Pier (Fixed) Mounting - used when aerator can be fixed-mounted to platform or
structure. Ideal for applications where gear reduced units are being replaced
with Aqua-Jets units.
Accessories
Low Trajectory Diffuser (LTD) Assembly - polyethylene ring attached to top
of the diffusion head to lower spray reducing windblown spray and misting.
Anti-erosion Assembly - stainless steel plate attached to bottom of intake cone
via anti-vortex cross. Causes water to be drawn from sides of cone rather than
directly below to prevent floor erosion which can occur in shallow basins.
Draft Tubes - extension of intake cone permitting deeper intake of water.
Lengths of 3 to 6 feet.
Artic Pak - ring contains thermal resistance heaters which minimize the chance
of icing on exposed surfaces such as the diffusion head. Supplied with its own
junction box, automatic controls and control panel.

Many Aqua-Jet aerator models are available for "Quick Ship" delivery. If you
place an order by 1:00 p.m., the aerator can be shipped out by 5:00 p.m. the
